Our Team

Reverend Tim G. Waghorn – Senior Minister. Tim is a newcomer to South Grafton Anglican but brings a fresh vision for the Anglican Church. He completed his theological training at Ridley College in Melbourne. The Anglican Church is becoming a broad church and within this broad state, Tim is from the evangelical end of the spectrum. Outside of Church ministry, he is a published author, songwriter and musician.

After thirteen years in Melbourne, Tim and his wife Gail took on a whole new challenge at Lakes Anglican Church, Kanwal on the Central Coast of NSW and after five years there, have moved to South Grafton, leaving behind a healthy families church. Revernend Tim and Gail have adult children and a very old dog.

“My passion is Pioneer ministry. With many years in the field of change management, especially relating to Church growth and developement, I am at home with Churches that are seeking to reconnect with their communities.” – Revd. Tim

Reverend Tim brings to the Church:

– Rock-solid Biblical preaching and teaching
– Engaging interaction with people of all walks and ages
– A fresh approach to contemporary Anglican Worship in the Clarence Region While he is comfortable with organ hymns, modern worship is more his style and is right at home with his Gibson Firebird or Reverend Jetstream electric guitars

Reverend Jenny Parker – honourary Deacon. Jenny has been part of South Grafton Anglican for a good number of years. You may know her from the aged care facilities she regularly visits or from the Music Time. Jenny loves to go fishing with her husband Ian.
